It was not Alamo but Budget as the booking got changed by tripadvisor. a. The car ( nissan murano) at JFK airport was not clean b. After some time the front collision warning light came up kept coming up intermittently c. It applied automatic breaks in the middle of the highway quite a few times ( Lucky to be remain unhurt) d. Had to stop my trip half way and take shelter at a friend's place late in the evening e. Towing truck came way too late f. Replacement vehicle was also dirty g. Replacement vehicle had serious mechanical issue ( shaking vigorously on the highway) h. In spite of all these, was charged for the extra day ! The overall experience with this Budget rental was worse than pathetic!!

Find a different company to rent from, i had to go to several Alamo branches and all of them were rude and refused to help me with my rental situation, all of them, telling me I should talk to someone else. Lazy and inconsiderate.

Hello Car not clean by pickup 3 Day rental 450 Dollars Wanted to extend for one day then total 1120 I said what? Are you kidding me Car in Bad condition Pickup location located in a garage with some make shift furniture not worthy of the #1 car rental place in the world Would not rent with Hertz New York again

Extremely hard and almost impossible to get a rental without a reservation. Outrageous prices! If I wasn’t desperate to get home I would never have used there service. I can say the women who helped me did was she could and went above and beyond, or at least made me feel that way. It’s hertz corporate that’s the problem. Criminal how they operate.

They charged my card $100 a day and claimed I never returned it, when I dropped it off early in the proper location. This is for the Nashville Airport drop-off location

We arrived at exactly the drop-off time (10pm) and the location staff was already leaving so we were told we had to pay for overnight parking at the structure it's located in. I had to threaten to call Hertz central before the manager accepted my drop off. It was clear this was done on purpose to create a situation in which drivers are forced to pay for parking if arriving a second past the reservation time. Unacceptable business practice.

HYA Airport needs to make it clearer to customers that the building CLOSES as of 8PM, making it impossible to return a car after that timeframe. It's incredibly inconvenient and hours need to be clearly stated when making a rental reservation. This is not the first I've experience this when renting a car.

We got a KIA SUV that had over 58k miles on it. When I checked out, the car was muddy (not washed), the floor mats were not cleaned and vacuumed, and the tires were low. I tried to see if the garage attendant could fill up the tires but he said he couldn't and that the tires were okay and that it was fine to drive the car. While driving the car, I found a gas station to pay to use their air pump to fill the tires to their recommended air pressure.
